What is your event cancellation policy? If the client cancels the event for any reason, the deposit ($100.00) is forfeited unless Holliday Productions is able to book the date cancelled. If Holliday Productions rebooks the date, $75.00 is refunded to the client, and $25.00 if forfeited as a booking fee. In the event that Holliday Productions must cancel due to accident, illness, or events beyond the control of Holliday Productions (such as earthquake, tornado, flood, or other natural disasters), the client is entitled to a full refund of any money paid. .
What are your standard payment terms? A deposit of $100.00 is due back with a signed contract, and the balance is due on the day of the event. Payment can be via check, money order, or cash. (NOTE: Many DJs require payment in full prior to the event or "cash only" payments, but Holliday Productions works in good faith: you have faith that Les will perform well, and he has faith that you will honor the contract!.
Can your DJ MC our event? Can you provide a microphone? Les is a veteran of over 7 years on the air in the Chicago area and over 500 weddings, and he also works as an emcee for corporate and charity events. He can definitely handle all your announcements and introductions throughout the event. A wireless microphone (Telex) is used by Les and is provided for use by the best man for the toast, etc. If additional microphones are needed, they can be supplied at no additional cost. How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date? As long as the date is still open, you can book Holliday Productions whenever you want. Holliday Productions has been booked up to three years in advance and with as little as two weeks' notice..
What type of equipment do you use? What special feature (lighting, etc) can you provide? Holliday Productions features the Bose® L1 Model II sound system with the ToneMatch™ audio engine, coupled with a Telex wireless microphone system. Music is played through a Mac G4 laptop with a 500-gig Firewire drive attached. If additional microphones are required, Holliday Productions can supply up to five wireless and one wired microphone, along with three microphone stands with booms. If lights are requested, Holliday Productions will rent the system needed, and the client will pay only the rental cost in addition to the contract amount..
Can guests make song requests? How many (and what types) of CDs will the DJ bring to the event? Absolutely! Holliday Productions draws from a music library of over 30,000 songs. Holliday Productions features all-digital sound, having moved up from CDs to high-quality mp3, mp4, AAC, and "lossless" music files. That means no skips, no dropouts, and lightning-quick responses to requests. .
Do you bring backup equipment to the event? Do you have backup djs in case of sickness? Backup is essential.
