• What makes you different from other local photographers? Why should someone hire you? My motto is to capture the story of your day--all aspects from the bride getting ready, to pre-ceremony candids, the ceremony, formal portraits, and reception candids. Plus, being a bride myself--I understand the process of the wedding day and what's imporant: the moments, memories you make, and the details that make your day unique and special..

• What is included in your basic wedding packages? All packages include all high-res images on DVD and all images posted on the Online Gallery..

• What are your standard payment terms? How much is the deposit? Deposit is $525.00 for all packages..

• Who exactly will be taking pictures at my wedding? Do you use subcontractors? I am the owner and principal photographer of Holly Callan Photography. I will be the photographer at your wedding..

• How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date? For April - October, I suggest at least 6 months in advance. May and June weddings should consider booking a year in advance. Jan. - March and Nov. - Dec. should book at least 3 months. The sooner you book, the more chance I have your date..

• Can I keep the negatives? the proofs? Is there an extra charge for this service? How much? You get all high-res images on DVD--so basically you are getting all the "digital negatives." This is included with all packages at no extra charge..

• What kind of equipment will you bring with you? Do you bring backup equipment? lighting? I use Fuji and Nikon cameras, a variety of lenses, Nikon SB 800 Flasher, and Gary Fong diffusers. I have back-up equipment..

• What new ideas have you implemented in the last couple years? Are you current with latest trends? More time with bride and groom to take artistic and romantic photos of them alone..

• Will you be taking digital photographs? Is there an extra charge for this service? I am all digital--no extra charge..

• Can guests view and order shots on-line? How soon will the photos be put on-line? Yes, all photos are posted via an Online Gallery from 3 - 8 weeks after the wedding..

• How would you describe your photographic style? What does this mean? I call myself "creative-documentary." I capture the story of your day with lots of candids, detail shots, traditional portraits with family, fun portraits with wedding party, and artistic portraits of the bride and groom alone..

• How far are you willing to travel? Is there a travel charge? I will travel--email me for a quote..

• Can we request both that both color and black & white photography be used at the wedding? Since I shoot all-digial, everything is in color. Anything can be converted to b/w or sepial..

• Do you bring an assistant to the wedding to help coordinate portraits? Any package over 5 hours includes an assistant..

• How quickly will I receive my prints? I shoot all digital--you will receive a DVD of all high-res images from 3 to 8 weeks after the wedding day..

• How many weddings have you photographed? Over 150..

• How many pictures do you take? Can I provide a list of posed photos for you to take? Depending on the package, which goes by hours, determines the amount. My most popular package is 7-8 hours, which is about 1,200+ images..
